Compare two college basketball programs

Pick two programs and see them side by side, from their own rosters: how many players they list, how tall the guards and the frontcourt run, how much of the roster is new this season, how many are in their final year, and where the players come from. 929 programs at 2025–26: 330 in Division I, 254 in Division II, 345 in Division III.

These are players who made a college roster. The data does not see the players who didn't — so it answers "what does this roster look like?", never "what do you need to be to play here?"

What this does not tell you

  • It compares two rosters as their athletics sites list them. It says nothing about playing time, offers or fit — your report does.
  • Heights are listed heights. "New this season" means a player who was not on this program's roster last season, by id or by name on the same roster.
  • Hometown shares are of the players whose hometown we hold; a roster that lists none shows a dash.
  • A program appears only when its roster was at strength (8 or more listed) in 2025–26 and 2024–25, and lists heights for both its guards and its frontcourt. 131 of the 1,060 programs we hold do not, this season.

The numbers behind this

How this is worked out

Season
2025–26, the newest season every program has posted; last season is 2024–25.
Sources
The same computations as the live pages: programs losing the most seniors (final-year share), programs with the most roster turnover (new, left early, elsewhere), the class-year page (freshmen), how far from home players play (in-state, international), and each program's own page (guard and frontcourt heights).
Floors
8 listed players a season; heights between 5'0" and 7'6"; a hometown share needs at least one placeable hometown.
Refresh
Rebuilt with the library's quarterly refresh from the same rule, so a program can enter or leave as its roster is posted.
