These terms apply to our invite-only beta today and to paid purchases when billing goes live.
By creating an account or using Depth Chart, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. For parent-managed accounts, the parent or guardian accepts these terms on the athlete's behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Depth Chart is an AI-powered basketball recruiting analytics platform. We provide data-driven tier assessments, school fit matching, and personalized roadmaps based on statistical analysis of college program data.
There are two ways to hold a Depth Chart account. An athlete account: athletes 13 or older create and control their own account and are the "user" under these terms. A parent-managed account: a parent or guardian creates the account on the athlete's behalf (required for athletes under 13), is the account holder and contact, and is responsible for the accuracy of the athlete information provided. In both cases you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and your profile data accurate and current.
Depth Chart is currently in an invite-only beta. Invited members receive full access free for one year from signup, in exchange for honest product feedback. After your free year ends — or when the beta program ends, whichever is later — standard pricing applies, and we will notify you by email before anything is ever charged. Beta features may change as we improve the product.
The platform is for personal recruiting research only. You may not commercially redistribute report data, scrape the platform, or use Depth Chart to contact athletes on behalf of third parties. You agree not to submit false or misleading profile information, impersonate another athlete, or use the platform to harass anyone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your Recruiting Fit Report is produced by statistical models over publicly available program data combined with AI-generated written analysis from trusted third-party AI services. AI-generated content can contain errors or omissions. Reports are informational — they are honest, data-backed assessments, not professional recruiting representation, coaching, legal advice, or a prediction guarantee. Verify important facts (such as program details and coach names) directly with schools before acting on them.
Depth Chart provides data-driven analysis based on publicly available program data and user-submitted profiles. We do not guarantee recruiting outcomes, scholarship offers, or admission to any institution.
Nothing is charged during the free beta; the policy below governs paid purchases. Depth Chart offers a one-time Recruiting Fit Report for $99 and an optional annual subscription for $149/year. Prices may change in the future, but any price changes will be disclosed as required by law before they apply.
Parent or Guardian Purchases for Minor Athletes
If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create or approve the paid account, accept these Terms, and make any purchase on the athlete's behalf. By purchasing Depth Chart services for a minor athlete, you represent that you are the athlete's parent or legal guardian and are authorized to provide information and make purchases on the athlete's behalf.
Recruiting Fit Report Refunds
You may request a full refund of the $99 Recruiting Fit Report fee within 14 days after the report is delivered by submitting a billing request through our Help page at mydepthchart.com/help or by emailing support@mydepthchart.com. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds typically post within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
After the 14-day refund window, Recruiting Fit Report purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or where Depth Chart determines, in its discretion, that a refund or credit is appropriate. This refund policy applies only to the one-time Recruiting Fit Report fee. It does not apply to annual subscription fees unless expressly stated at checkout or required by law.
Depth Chart does not guarantee any recruiting outcome, scholarship offer, coach response, admission decision, roster spot, or placement at any school. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, duplicative, or made in bad faith, including repeated refund requests for the same athlete, account, or substantially similar report.
Annual Subscription
The annual subscription is optional and renews automatically each year at $149/year, plus applicable taxes, unless canceled before renewal. By starting an annual subscription, you authorize Depth Chart to charge your payment method today and automatically each year until you cancel.
You may cancel anytime through Settings → Billing, at mydepthchart.com/help, or by emailing support@mydepthchart.com. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription period, and you will continue to have access until that period ends. Annual subscription fees are non-refundable after purchase except where required by law or where Depth Chart determines, in its discretion, that a refund or credit is appropriate.
Renewal Notices
For annual subscriptions, Depth Chart will send a renewal reminder before your subscription renews, as required by applicable law. Renewal notices will include the renewal amount, renewal timing, and instructions for cancellation.
Changes to Subscription Price or Terms
If we materially change the price or renewal terms of an active subscription, we will provide notice as required by law before the change takes effect, including information on how to cancel.
Depth Chart is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any athletic conference, or any college or university unless expressly stated.
Depth Chart and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service. For parent-managed accounts, the parent or guardian accepts these limitations on the athlete's behalf.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Users will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
